Move Your Body

Move Your Body is a campaign to promote physical and mental health to all Trent students. It encourages students to be a part of sports events, or take part in any physical activity, as well as provide nutritional information. Move Your Body will include:

  • Squash Tournament
  • Women's only swim-time and workout hours
  • Dodgeball tournament
  • Promotion of more faculty taking part in athletics events with students
  • Development of nutritional facts and seminars for student.

Cover Me

Cover Me was created to promote healthy sexual practices. It aims to provide students with information on Sexually Transmitted Infections, and recommends proper usage of condoms to better prevent any Infections.

Cover Me also brings the Trent Community together with Fleming College as well as the downtown Peterborough community to provide condoms to any bars that are willing to participate.

Trent's Anti-Poverty Week '09

The Central's Anti-Poverty Week is an awareness campaign that will be happening from October 5th to 10th. Poverty is an issue that affects thousands of people in the Peterborough community and all around the world. This week aims to encourage as many people as possible to have a dialogue about poverty and the hardships associated with it. So get informed, be involved and donate.
