As full-time undergraduate students on the Peterborough campus, full-time graduate students, and full- or part-time education students, you are entitled to the Student Extended Health and Dental Benefits Plan provided by The Central. The cost of the plan, $262.00 ($150.00 for Health and $112.00 for Dental), has been included in your tuition.

Using your plan: Come by the Benefits Office (Champlain College room S109, beside the Men's Bathroom at the Great Hall) and pick up your Greenshield Benefits Card, or print it from this site. You simply put your name and student number without the first zero on the card, and you'll be ready to use your benefits. A coverage guide outlining your benefits is available in the office, on this site, and online at www.greenshield.ca/studentcentre

ANY STUDENT WHO RECEIVED A CHEQUE LAST YEAR will be receiving a cheque again THIS YEAR. There is no need to opt-out again, as long as you are remaining a full-time undergrad or grad student, or an education student.

Opt-Out Cheques: If you opted-out in September/October 2009, or you received a cheque last year and you remain a full-time student this year, you can still pick up your opt-out cheque until April 2010 in the main Central Office (Champlain College room S110 just past the bookstore).
